SNOW WEEKEND AT MARIN SIERRA!

Pack 28's annual Snow Play Getaway

Friday, December 12 - Sunday December 14th, 2003

Join us!  The Ibach Lodge at Marin Sierra is reserved for our pack on the weekend of December 12 - 14.  Camp Marin Sierra is located on Highway 20, 1 mile west of the intersection with US 80 at 5,100 feet elevation.  The Ibach Lodge accommodates up to 40 people.  An adult must accompany each Scout unless otherwise formally arranged.  Additional family members also may attend.  The cost is $40.00 per person and includes Ibach Lodge rental and meals from Friday night through Sunday morning.  Scouts and parents must make their own travel arrangements. Checks should be made out to "Cub Scout Pack 28" and returned with this form to Cubmaster Alfia Wallace as soon as possible.

If more than 40 people sign up, priority will be given to the attendance of each Scout and his accompanying adult.  The remaining participants will be selected in the order of signup.

To make your reservation, please fill out the attached reservation form, enclose the required payment, made out to "Cub Scout Pack 28" and bring it to the next pack or den meeting.

If you have questions please contact tour leader Art Wallace at art@cardiacengineering.com

This trip is what scouting is about and will be a memorable experience for the scouts. We hope that you can attend.

Camp Marin-Sierra Address & Directions:
P.O. Box 86, Emigrant Gap, CA 95715
Phone (916) 389-8192, Fax (916) 389-9981

From Marin County, travel about 150 miles east on Highway 37 and Interstate 80.

After passing Auburn, travel another 30 miles.

Exit for US Highway 20, and take it west towards Grass Valley. This exit is about 20 miles west of Truckee.

Follow US 20 for about 1/2 mile, and watch for a small sign on your right for Camp Marin-Sierra.

Turn right into the parking lot. Usually, the ranger prefers that most vehicles park on two rows in the center of the lot, especially in winter so that he can plow around the perimeter of the lot.  In summer, overflow vehicles can park around the perimeter.
