About Our Pack:

Meetings: We meet three Wednesday evenings a month from 6.30 - 7.30 pm in the Dixie Elementary Multipurpose Room. There are also annual pack events and optional den activities (see below.) The first two Wednesday meetings are den (grade-level ) meetings at which boys and their parents work together on fun projects and advancement in their books. The last monthly meeting is a pack meeting at which all the boys in all grades do activities together . Each pack meeting has a theme, and includes a flag ceremony, the Pledge of Allegiance, den reports, a song, skit, pack activities and games . Pack 28 is entirely run by family volunteers.

Den meetings: Each den is led by the scout parents in the den and meets twice a month in addition to monthly pack meetings and activities. Den meetings focus on activities and achievements in the Tiger Cub, Cub Scout and Webelos books. Den meetings are held two Wednesday evenings a month at Dixie Elementary. . Dens may also plan their own off-site meetings and field trips, such as to a museum, beach, RC air field or performance, with a trained adult leader.

Dues: For a year of scouting (May - May or Sept. to Sept.) - $ 100.00 per scout.  This includes all den and pack meetings, pinewood & space derby kits, most activities (exceptions noted below), awards and a subscription to the Cub Scout monthly Boy's Life Magazine.  Scout uniforms must be purchased separately from Marin Council (454-1081) or Marin Outdoors. Cub Scout uniforms may be used throughout all years of Cub Scouting. Our pack requires the shirt, hat, kerchief and official badges only.
